Im sorry i havn’t sent you any new stuff so I made you sketch book christmas card in the meantime, (sketches done at my life drawing classes, I was meant to draw the nude model but the people around me were much more interesting!) I will deliver it when im next in the big smoke. Hope you keeping good. Regardens …till then.

PEOPLE BY THE SEA

NEW STORY

So i was thinking today…then i looked down and read something that caught my eye ‘imagin a new story for your life and beleive in it. Focus only on the moments when you achieved what you desired, and that strength will help you get what you want’ its from a book, ‘the fifth mountain’, by Paulo Coelho. I liked that. I suppose by doing my blog I hope to create a story for myself, just record stuff, through my work.

Ive got loads of stuff at the moment, ie, bits ive collected, doodles ive drawn, marks I’ve painted, photos ive stored and well im being a bti of a ’scrapper’ at the moment, by that I mean scrap book lady, connecting bits/images together, kinda mood boards maybe. Yer im creating mood boards I guess but for what Im not sure!?! Im always searching for a bit of unnity in my work and to have a final product is a success for me. I would like more products in ‘my story’.

I find it hard to focus but its precisley because of that im very  open and observant to random stuff. So yer like i said at the start, i was thinking to day …why don’t I arrange my drawings like i arrange my flowers? I guess its kinda like the last few months i ant been able to work on my bog (due to having to work!) but been storing stuff, collecting ingredients if you like and now i think im  at the stage of deciding what im gonna cook.

I cooked up some postcards (series of 6 cards) at the end of this mood board today! Its a start….to what im not sure what but i will go with  it…..

RESOLUTION

Make use of what you got and quit worrying about what you havn’t got. Another glass of lemon barley then! lol!
